BIOGRAPHY



Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, he started learning the guitar at the age of 14, as a self-taught person, later studying technique and music theory. He studies Composition and Conducting at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul until the 5th semester when he moves to São Paulo, seeking to broaden his musical horizons.

Later on, he graduated from the Licentiate in Music course at the Methodist University (IPA).

He lived for four years first in São Paulo and then in Rio de Janeiro.

He then lived for four years in Madrid playing throughout Spain and other European and North African countries.

After a few years working between Brazil and Uruguay, he returns to live in Porto Alegre.

He has worked as a musician (Acoustic and Electric Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Voice), teacher, arranger, composer, and producer in an authorial project and participation in concerts and recordings by various artists, soundtracks and jingles.

He shared musical and life experiences with musicians from all over the world in presentations in Latin America and Europe, such as the Jazz Festival in Madrid (Spain), Festival Sul a Sud in Sanary (France), Festival Latinomúsica (Pelotas), Congress Salsa International (São Paulo Edition), Virada Cultural de São Paulo and many more.

He participated in two events “Homenagem ao Jazz” in a big band as a musician, arranger and musical director, playing together with Hermeto Pascoal. In 2023 he played at the Poa Jazz Festival and at the International Jazz Day at Farol Santander in the city of Porto Alegre.
